Love baklava but don’t want the fuss, look no further. This deconstructed baklava is all that! Easy, fast and delicious!

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup shelled salted pistachios
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 3 (17- by 12-inch) phyllo sheets, thawed
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups greek yoghurt
  • Honey for drizzling

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Make the Pistachio Phyllo Crumble: In a food processor pulse the nuts, sugar, and cinnamon until finely chopped (leave some texture).

    Arrange 1 piece of phyllo on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and brush with some butter. Sprinkle with ½ of the pistachio sugar and top with another piece of phyllo. Brush phyllo with some butter and sprinkle with the remaining pistachio sugar mixture. Top with remaining piece of phyllo, pressing down gently, and brush with some butter.

    Bake for about 10 minutes. Let cool. Break into smaller pieces.

    When ready to serve, divide the yogurt between the small serving bowls. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with Pistachio Phyllo Crumble. Serves 6-8 Pistachio Phyllo Crumble can be made a few days in advance, store in a sealed container at room temp.
