Kickin’ Strawberry Margaritas Recipe

Warm weather, relax, late night cocktails - margaritas, yes! These spicy strawberry margarita are on a whole other level.
Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled, plus a few
- extra to rim the glasses
- 1 inch piece of jalapeno pepper, seeded
- and ribs removed
- 120 mL/ 4 ounces lime juice
- 2-3 tbsp. honey or agave syrup
- 175 mL/ 6 ounces silver tequila
- About 4 cups crushed ice
- To Rim the Glasses
- 1-2 tsp. lime zest
- Kosher salt
- 1 lime wedges
Instructions

Rimmed glasses. Place the salt and lime zest in a small plate. Cut a little notch in the lime wedge and run that notch all around the glass. Dip the edge of the glass in the salt and lime zest.

In a blender, puree together the strawberries, jalapeño, lime juice, honey and tequila.

Blended: Add the ice and blend well

On the rocks: Pour into individual glasses over ice.

Serve immediately. Serves 4
